The forecast this weekend – sunshine and the Morpeth Farmers’ Market!

Morpeth Farmers' Market returns this Saturday [6th August], packed with fresh local produce and the usual canny traders!
From
9am-3pm shoppers can pick up delicious goodies including pies, bakes and cakes
from Murphy’s Kitchen, artisan bread from Bread and Roses and gourmet scotch
eggs from The Yolker.
Other
foodie traders attending include Catchis Kimchi, Bake for the Soul and The
Honey Store. Craft and gifting traders include Wooly Eric, The Hare in Winter
and Karen Griffiths Glass.
The monthly Farmers’ Market takes place on the first Saturday of
every month and is one of a full programme of markets organised and delivered
throughout the year by the Morpeth Markets team including the weekly Wednesday
Market and the Morpeth Makers Market.
Lottie Thompson, Sanderson Arcade’s Centre Manager and part of the Morpeth
Markets team said: “The sun is set to shine this weekend and we have a
fantastic line up of local, independent traders joining the Farmers’ Market,
perfect for a family-fun day outdoors!”
This
October the Annual Morpeth Food and Drink Festival returns on Saturday 1st
and Sunday 2nd October 2022. After a two-year hiatus the festival is
back in Morpeth Town Centre, with over 100 food and drink traders, live cookery
demonstrations and live music all weekend.
Morpeth
Market is managed by Northumberland County Council and Sanderson Arcade,
working in partnership with Morpeth Town Council.
