Morpeth’s March Farmers’ Market This Weekend

The monthly Morpeth Farmers’ Market returns this Saturday, 2nd March with a fantastic line up of local traders.

This month’s market line-up includes The Sauce Queen, Mad Jam Woman, Moorehouse Farm, Murphy’s Kitchen, Northumberland Poultry, Ridley’s Fish & Game, Mazzeh Spice, Geordie Bangers, The Honey Store, Bread & Roses, Northern Ark Nursery and many more. 

This month will also see the return of Vegan trader The Naked Foodie and the winner of Trader of the Year at 2018’s Food and Drink festival, Kitty’s Ginger Wine.

Sanderson Arcade Centre Manager Joel Plumley said: “The sun is set to shine on this weekend’s Farmers’ Market so come down, enjoy the weather and pick up some fantastic local produce!”

The team are also looking for new traders to join the Markets, Joel added: “‘We are always looking for new, local traders to join the monthly Farmers’ market so get in touch if you would like to get involved.”

Morpeth Market is managed by Northumberland County Council and Sanderson Arcade, working in partnership with Morpeth Town Council, Morpeth and District Chamber of Trade and other local organisations through the Morpeth Market working group.

The Morpeth Market is held every Wednesday from 9am – 3pm and the Farmer's Market is the first Saturday of every month.

This year’s annual Morpeth Food & Drink Festival has been confirmed to take place on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October 2019. Trader application forms for this year’s Morpeth Food and Drink Festival are now available to download from both the Sanderson Arcade and More in Morpeth website.
