Father Christmas set to spread festive cheer at Sanderson Arcade this weekend

Father Christmas will be making an eagerly anticipated appearance at Morpeth’s popular Sanderson Arcade this weekend.
Ahead of his round the globe trip to deliver presents, Santa
and Mrs Claus will be tucked away in Sandersons Department Store on Saturday,
December 2, from noon to 3pm.
The event, free of charge to all attendees, will offer an
opportunity for children to meet Santa in person, share their Christmas wishes,
and capture precious moments with photographs.
Each child visiting will also be offered a small gift as
part of the experience.
Lottie Thompson, centre manager at Sanderson Arcade, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Santa Claus back to Sanderson Arcade this Saturday.
"This event is a highlight of our festive calendar, and

It is expected to be busy and those interested in attending
are asked to arrive early to avoid any disappointment. There will also be a
queue system in place.
In addition, the Salvation Army choir will be performing at
the centre the same day at 10.30am.
The Mid Northumberland Chorus will be performing around the
Christmas tree at the centre the following day on Sunday, December 3, from 1pm
onwards.
The community choir, which has around 80 dedicated members,
is extremely popular in the area so expect to be serenaded into the festive
season.
Sandersons Department Store will be hosting their Christmas
Sparkle event on Thursday, December 7, from 6pm to 8pm.
The event promises to be a highlight of the Christmas
shopping season and is a chance to look and feel fabulous in the lead up to the
big day.
Visitors can expect exclusive discounts, one to one fashion
advice, a gift-wrapping service, personalised engraving service, live music and
goodie bags.
The fun then continues as members of the
public are invited to enjoy a good old singalong around the Christmas tree with
Carol’oke on Saturday, December 9, from 3pm.
In addition, the centre welcomes back real reindeers on
Sunday, December 10.
Come along between 10am and 4pm to meet Dasher, Dancer,
Prancer and their friends before they make their big journey around the
globe.
Once you have enjoyed all the festive events at Sanderson
Arcade and indulged in the magic of Morpeth at this time of year, you may
