Famous fisherman Robson Green hooked on Morpeth book store

Shoppers at Sanderson Arcade will be able to net a signed copy of a fishing bestseller when they call into store later this month.

Actor, keen fisherman and local lad Robson Green will be signing copies of his new book at Waterstones in Sanderson Arcade.

Robson, who is originally from Hexham, is passionate about fishing and well known for his Extreme Fishing TV series. Now he’s brought out a book featuring the fantastic fishing locations he’s visited around the world.

The book, which was released at the end of May,  is full of facts, tips and fishy tales. Robson will be signing copies of Extreme Fishing and chatting to his fans in the Waterstones store at Sanderson Arcade on Saturday July 13th at 3pm.

The TV series has followed Robson ice fishing in Siberia as well as hunting the elusive Mekong Giant Catfish in Thailand and his book accompanying the series is proving to be just as popular with readers as the TV show is with viewers.

Centre Manager at Sanderson Arcade, Medi Parry, said: “We’re very excited to be welcoming Robson Green to the centre. The book signing sessions at Waterstones are always really popular with our shoppers and we’re sure lots of people will be keen to come along on the 13th to meet Robson.”
