Family jeweller joins the line up at Sanderson Arcade

The family firm Whittakers Jeweller’s is opening a brand new store at Sanderson Arcade selling a fantastic range of jewellery brands including Pandora.
The north Yorkshire based company was the first in the UK to open a Pandora concept store which launched in Leeds in 2004 – the popular jewellery brand will be available at the new Whittakers store in Morpeth when it opens in October.
The 830 sq. ft. Morpeth store will be next to Pol Kefton and O2 along the Arcade’s gallery – the company also has stores in Yarm, Yeovil and Leeds as well as a Pandora store which has just opened Northallerton.
As well as Pandora the new Morpeth store will stock other brands including Swarovski and Chlobo as well as a range of stunning diamond pieces, bringing a new range of jewellery to shoppers at Sanderson Arcade.
The company is due to start work on the internal fit out at the new store in the next two weeks ready for an October opening.
Whittakers is run by siblings Nigel, Richard and Jonathan Evans and Natalie Howard – they all share a passion for jewellery which is reflecting in their stores and the company’s attention to detail.
The company is recruiting six new members of staff to work at the Morpeth store.
Richard Evans said: “We are really excited to be opening our latest store here in Morpeth at Sanderson Arcade. Morpeth is a lovely town and the whole team at Whittakers are looking forward to being part of the Arcade.”
Medi Parry, centre manager at Sanderson Arcade, said: “Whittakers are a great family firm and we are delighted they are joining us here at the Arcade.
They are going to bring some great brands which are currently not available at present in Morpeth - giving shoppers another great reason to visit the Arcade.”
