Christmas Park and Ride this weekend in Morpeth

Shoppers can take advantage of a free park and ride shuttle service for the next two Saturdays in Morpeth in the run up to Christmas.
The service will run from 11am until 5pm on Saturday 10th and Saturday 17th December to relieve pressure on the town centre car parks.
The free shuttle service will run from County Hall to Morpeth Bus Station ensuring shoppers can enjoy some stress free Christmas shopping on the two busiest Saturdays of the year.
There’s even a special drop off service to help shoppers with heavy items – this service will be available from the terrace area outside Morpeth Larder at Sanderson Arcade every hour from 12pm.
The Christmas park and ride service has been organised by the team at Sanderson Arcade as well as the Morpeth and District Chamber of Trade and the Morpeth Town Team.
Centre Manager at Sanderson Arcade, Medi Parry, said: “We wanted to offer this service on this two busy Saturdays to make Christmas shopping as enjoyable and hassle free as possible for people who want to come into Morpeth and enjoy our lovely town centre.
“Morpeth looks beautiful all lit up for Christmas and we want shoppers to be able to beat the crowds in the car park and be able to enjoy the experience.”
The service will run as a constant shuttle on both days from 11am to 5pm.
