Arcade team partners with independent Morpeth business

4 October 2024

The team at Sanderson Arcade in Morpeth have launched a partnership with local wellbeing and fitness business the Yoga Den.

The collaboration is launching with special pop-up yoga classes throughout the day at the Arcade on Saturday October 26th.

Yoga Den is owned by Christie Harley who is passionate about bringing Yoga and mindfulness to the heart of Northumberland – helping her clients to find a new level of calmness and relaxation. The company studio is based at Dark Lane in the town, offering classes, workshops, retreats, and private tuition.

Christie and her team cater for all ages, shapes and sizes and the studio has built up a great reputation for its inclusive approach to Yoga.

The team are now working with Sanderson Arcade to bring their services to a wider audience with regular demonstrations and pop-up sessions planned throughout the year.

Sanderson Arcade celebrates its 15th anniversary in November this year – since launching in 2009 the centre has been proud of its reputation for working with and promoting small independent brands in the town.

Centre Manager at Sanderson Arcade, Lottie Thompson, said: “We are really pleased to be working with the Yoga Den on this exciting collaboration, Yoga is such a great way to achieve fitness and wellbeing.

“It is fantastic to be able to bring Christie’s ethos and approach to the Arcade with a number of exciting events planned in the coming months. We love working with small independent businesses like the Yoga Den.”

Christie said: “Yoga is not about how you look, it is all about how you feel, and we really want to bring that message to a wider audience, working with the Arcade, here in the heart of the town, is a great way to help us achieve that.

“Our studio is an inclusive and welcoming environment where we want everyone to feel at home and accepted. We are really looking forward to sharing more about the benefits of Yoga and mindfulness.”

The first Yoga Den demonstrations will take place onSaturday October 26th when customers will have the opportunity to chat to Christie and her team about the benefits of Yoga. One to one consultation and a FREE goodie bag for the first 30 sign-ups will also be available.

The pop-up schedule is as follows:
